Log in to the registry: docker login (Hub) or docker login ghcr.io

denied: requested access to the resource is denied: not logged in, or the image name does not start with your user/org namespace
Only layers the registry is missing are uploaded, so re-pushes are fast
Pushing to :latest overwrites it for everyone pulling that tag

Use --password-stdin in scripts and CI. Passing -p puts the password in shell history and process lists.
