Where did the space go?

5df -i # out of inodes instead of bytes?

Remove stopped containers: docker container prune

Container logs: a chatty container can fill GBs in /var/lib/docker/containers/*/*-json.log. Set log rotation (max-size, max-file) in daemon.json
Docker Desktop stores everything in one virtual disk; raise its size in Settings > Resources, or run the prunes above
Space inside the container (writable layer) filling up: write to a volume instead

--volumes deletes database data in volumes not attached to a container. Back up first.
